Plus I was at Latrobe University and being exposed to experimental music and sampling was going on there too and with classical composers like Berio (who quoted other music extensively in his own work including pop music) and Stockhausen .... knobs and being forced to listen to the boss's preferred “Beautiful Music” station all day playing 101 Strings and Stranger on The Shore and all the more insipid tunes that were later passed-over by the Exotica revival in the 90's. ...
